Lounging In The Garage

This Ektachrome transparency of my grandfather lounging in the garage was taken in the late 60's by my grandmother, Marion Nunes. She was a prolific shutterbug during this era, and was often seen with her trusty Argus Super Seventy-Five 620 twin lens reflex camera (pictured below). She made this image with the flash bulb attachment (pre-electronic flash). The colors of this sparkling Ektachrome are even better than this digital file which I made by back lighting the slide and shooting the image with a Nikon D7000 and a 40mm macro lens. The image file was then "developed" in Photoshop to better resemble the actual Ektachrome.
