The third fall of Elakala on Shays Run captured here with a fresh blanket of fallen autumn leaves. I was standing with tripod on the slippery edge of a 30 ft fall to make a series of 4 verticle frames to create this image. The camera cannot quite capture the wild beauty of Blackwater canyon as experienced in person.

My very first photograph in Great Smoky Mountain National Park. This image was made at dusk between passing showers on a rainy and misty evening. I love the mood and sense of atmosphere in this photograph which successfully captured the conditions on the river.

This panoramic image made by stitching 2 horizontal frames in CS 5.5, gives a CinemaScope like rendering of this idyllic Tennessee mountain stream. It would be a shame to view this or any of my photographs on a smart phone (your laptop monitor is too small as well). Everything here should be viewed on a large Apple desktop monitor for optimum presentation.
